Little Known Fact

Each year in the European Union newcomers make up about one-half of one percent of the total population. Many of the newcomers are responding to job offers. Not a problem--but politicians make it a crisis driven by racist alarmism.

People nearly always want to live in their own country.  

A Somali poet, Warson Shire, wrote:


no one leaves home unless
home is the mouth of a shark
you only run for the border
when you see the whole city running as well
your neighbors running faster than you
breath bloody in their throats

who kissed you dizzy behind the old tin factory

when home won't let you stay.
